As I slowly shifted my head from my comfy pillow, I felt the morning sunlight tease my shut eye. I snuggled underneath my warm duvet to fight the urge to wake up. It was way too early I thought. Then my heart skipped when I realized being covered in clean and soft linens wasn’t a dream. Where am I? I asked myself. As I opened my eyes, I immediately scanned my surroundings while lying down comfortably on one of Brentwood Suites’ Superior Twin Room beds. Memories of the previous night started to rush in.
It was one of those typical Saturdays where you had nothing planned and all you want to do is go out and enjoy the weekend.

It was already three weeks ago since I decided to travel and stay in Manila temporarily but I haven’t had the time to explore the metropolis. So when I received a message to join my Pinoy Travel Blogger friends to hang out, I didn’t hesitate.
Most of my friends live around Quezon City so Brentwood Suites seemed to be the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a weekend staycation in Metro Manila. I’ve never been to this side of the city to be honest. I think it was eons ago when I last stepped foot around the QC area. Back then, I only knew three routes by heart: SM North, Philcoa and UP Diliman. Surprisingly, finding our weekend haven wasn’t as difficult as it looked for a first timer like me.

I met my friends at Dampa sa Timog where beer and travel stories were the night’s main course. When everyone got bored, we transferred to a different venue that guaranteed an epic night, especially for the boys.
It was past 3am when we decided to head for our hotel in Quezon Avenue. However, it seemed imperative for the gang to order and munch on those cheap burgers from Burger Machine, the burger stall across the road, which was too hard to resist.

Brentwood Suites Hotel
This is one of those unassuming hotels, you know. It would be a mistake to consider it as just one of those basic small hotels in Quezon City. Because the moment you step inside its glass doors, their posh lobby will meet you, not to mention those beautiful flower chandeliers.

They opened last June 2014.
What I like about it is you can still sense that it’s still new as they were able to keep the cleanliness all through out.
Brentwood Suites offers an urban yet stylish atmosphere where each guest’s comfort is their top priority. They are conveniently located within minutes from Quezon Avenue, Timog Avenue and Tomas Morato. It also has close proximity to the city’s business hubs and entertainment centers.
The hotel’s 75 rooms were carefully designed to ensure maximum relaxation for each guests. Majority of the rooms are classified into Superior and Premiere. All rooms have access to amenities such as free Wi-Fi access, cable TV, private toilet and bath, complete bath amenities, coffee and tea maker, writing table and chair, dresser with hangers, mini-bar, phone (plus phone in the bath) and a safety deposit box.
Junior Suite Room
We were happy to get a closer look at the different room types when we tried to request it at the front desk. Almost all have the same bathroom design. Except for their Junior Suite Room, which has a bath tub; and their Executive Suite, which has a jacuzzi.
Cafe Elements
Each accommodation comes inclusive of free breakfast, buffet style. Guests can dine in at Café Elements where Filipino, Asian and Western cuisine are served. A la carte dishes are also available.
There’s a gym for guests’ use free of charge. A spa service is also available daily.

After we had our breakfast, we went back to our rooms to make the most of the time left. Good thing was they allowed us to have a late check out. It was actually hard to leave our room considering its relaxing atmosphere.
Currently, Brentwood Suites Hotel has an ongoing promo which is valid until June 30, 2015.
